Article 25 of the GDPR mandates that data controllers apply data protection by design and by default to personal data processing activities. This requires integrating appropriate technical and organizational measures, such as pseudonymization, to effectively implement data protection principles and to safeguard the rights of data subjects.

Adhering to and demonstrating the principles of data protection by design and by default is always mandatory. Documentation of these efforts is essential in case of inspection, which may include reports and evidence for implementation of effective data minimization and preventive measures dedicated to this purpose.

Europrivacy, the European Data Protection Seal recognized under Article 42 of the GDPR, offers a comprehensive certification mechanism that helps organizations demonstrate compliance with these requirements. It enables to review and set in place regular controls of compliance.

By certifying your compliance, you can proactively document and be ready to present evidence in case of controls. It enables to make compliance part of your company’s organizational DNA.

With Europrivacy, you don’t just manage compliance, you demonstrate it.  Building trust and confidence!
